畢業於國立臺北藝術大學，獲頒劇場設計碩士學位，主修燈光設計。主要從事劇場燈光設計、裝置創作及技術統籌等工作。以光影作為媒介，嘗試尋找不同表演藝術作品中獨特的燈光語言。近年作品包括：文化中心三十周年誌慶《燕宇春徽》、《奇幻聖誕之旅》、香港藝術節-舞蹈平台《舞鬥》、《十四條腿音樂家》、《爸爸》、《BON 4 BON》、《二延體：誘發》、《回聲摺疊》、《赤鬼》等。2017年，作品《備忘錄》入選世界劇場設計展，新銳設計。
LAI Tze Yu

Currently work as an Art SLASH. Focusing on lighting design and development of luminaire use in stage. LAI obtained his Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Design (major in Lighting) from the Taipei National University of Arts upon his graduation in CUHK with a bachelor in Electronic Engineering.
In 2017, the lighting design of《L'AIDE-MÉMOIRE》was selected as emerging design in World Stage Design 2017 (WSD2017). LAI keeps to collaborate with varies artists and theatre companies in Hong Kong and Taiwan. He would like to explore the world through lighting and his believe: ‘Light as the first eye.’ Major design included: 30th Anniversary of Cultural Centre《Yin Yu Chun Fai》, HK Art Festival Contemporary Dance Series《Dance Off》,《A Fantastie Journey @Xmas》,《Emoto》,《BON 4 BON》,《String》,《Folding Echoes》,《PAPA》and《Red Demon》.
